Watha T. Daniel Library Meeting Postponed, to be Rescheduled
The meeting to be held by the DC Public Library administration on Thursday, February 3, 2005, at 7:00 PM at the Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Neighborhood Library to update the community on plans for the new WTD/SNL building has been postponed. A new date will be announced shortly.

Meeting on Watha T. Daniel Library Rescheduled to 12/21/04
The meeting to present 70% plans for the 14,000 square foot proposed replacement for the Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Neighborhood Library, originally scheduled for Monday, December 13, 2004 at 7:00 PM at the branch, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at the same time and place.

NEWS FLASH: City Administrator Commits to Fund Full Replacement of Shaw Library
This afternoon, in a meeting in Ward 2 Councilmember Jack Evans' office, City Administrator Robert Bobb committed to funding a 24,000 square foot replacement for the current Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Neighborhood Library. The necessary funding will be reprogrammed to allow the full-size library's design and construction to proceed. "We're going to give the community what it wants," Bobb told Evans.
